WELCOME TO
WREATHS FOR WESTERN RESERVE

Wreaths for Western Reserve was formed in 2005 to solicit donations for the placement of wreaths at headstones of our fallen heroes laid to rest at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio. In our first year, we placed 250 wreaths. We continue to grow and thanks to our many loyal volunteers and sponsors, we were able to place 3900 during the 2013 campaign. This was 900 more than last year. Special placements were made at almost 1,000 gravesites. The snow storm did not deter over 150 volunteers and members of the public from helping make the placements and participating in the noon time ceremony.

The 2014 National Remembrance Day will take place Saturday, December 13. Donations and sponsorships can be made any time before Saturday, November 26, 2014. Any donations received after that date will be applied to the 2015 campaign.
We encourage everyone to visit the cemetery on the wreath laying day to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and attend the brief ceremony. By doing so, we continue the mission to

~REMEMBER THE FALLEN~
~HONOR THOSE WHO SERVE ~
~AND TEACH OUR CHILDREN THE VALUE OF FREEDOM~
